The Teen Service of Korle-Bu Community Chapel welcomes with warm and open arms adolescents graduating from the Children’s Service as well as all teenagers who join us to fellowship. Our service is spiced with Christian Education Program, praise and worship, prayer and sometimes drama. In line with the church’s annual theme, we have interesting sermons topics tailored to our understanding and preached by a spectrum of seasoned Christians both young and old. Also on our calendar are days for evangelism and community outreach.
Goal and Vision
Our goal is to ensure that all our members know Christ as personal Savior and are nurtured to attain to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Like Paul’s vision for Timothy we want our young people to set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
Our mission is to fan into flame the gift of God which is in our members so that by the time of moving to the main Adult Service, they take their rightful place in the Young Adult Fellowship and contribute to the spiritual and numerical growth of the church.
We encourage all attendants at the Teen service to take ownership of the service and contribute to its success by playing a role, God being our helper! Opportunities for service include setting up the hall for the service, ushering, leading liturgy, playing an instrument and singing among others.
We meet during the second service on Sundays at 9.30am and look forward to welcoming you.
