Growing up in the Eastern and Ashanti Regions of Ghana, he moved around a lot with the family, following his father to different teaching stations where he was posted. In time, he worked with the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) before moving to Germany in search of greener pastures. It was there, in the late 1970s, that he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saviour, and he has not looked back since.
Rev. Osae-Addo was a founding member of Christian Mission Church, Hamburg, Germany, before moving back to Ghana to set up Koats Enterprise, importing household and electrical equipment. It was there, in 2002 that he responded to the call of God and gave up business to go into ministry. He studied for his Diploma and Degree in Theology at Maranatha Bible College, and got his MPhil in Theology from Central University College (CUC).
He has a passion for the church to be evangelistic in its outlook, both in word and deed. He believes that KBCC should strive to be more than just a single church, but should be focused on church planting. Without evangelism, the church cannot exist. He also seeks to nurture Christians to tackle the rapid social changes of the day
Currently, he is the board chairman of AWANA, and a board member of Ghana Institute of Languages, Linguistics and Bible Translation (GILLBT). He also lectures occasionally at CUC.
Rev. Osae-Addo is married to Theresa and they have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
