The Rev. Lawrence Kwesi Tete is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian church of Ghana who been posted to the Korle-Bu Community Chapel, Accra to assist the Head Pastor.
He was called into ministry and was consecrated as a catechist in the year 2003. Between 2005 and 2008, he was trained as a minister and commissioned in July 2008.
Rev. L. K. Tete was ordained in July 2010 as a Presbyterian minister at the Kanashie Presbyterian Church. He has worked and pastored congregations in the Nsawam, Adeiso and Nsukwao (Koforidua) Districts of the Akuapem Presbytery of the Presbyterian church of Ghana. .
He has served in various capacities in the PCG as a Youth leader (North Kanashie Presby), children service coordinator (Nsawam District), Director for church life and Nurture (Adeiso) catechist (Nsawam), acted on a number of occasions as the District Minister (Nsukwao District, Koforidua) chaplain Akuapem Presbytery Young Adults Fellowship, until he took post at the KBCC, Accra.
Rev. Tete was trained as a Teacher at the Presbyterian Training College (PTC) at Akropong now College of Education, had his Diploma and Degree in Theology at the Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon, Accra, and Master of Arts Degree at the University of Ghana, Legon. He has the passion for prayer and believes that the key that unlocks all problem is prayer, total reliance on the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ who empowers the Christian believer at all times for ministry (Acts 1:8).
Rev. Tete is married to Mrs. Winyfred Nana Yaa Tete and they are blessed with two children; Barak and Gabriella. He has also authored two books, a Bible study material and a Lent Devotional Guide.
