Facing Controversy

“Have you ever had the idea that God came to the men of the Bible in very strange ways? That they dreamed dreams and saw visions and then they suddenly had some great religious experience?

Well, that’s not the way it actually was. When did God come to Adam? After he had been meddling with that forbidden tree. What about Cain? After his quarrel with his brother. And Moses? While he was on the job of taking care of some sheep.

God doesn’t come in some religious atmosphere, but right there in your temptation, right there after your family quarrel, right there on the job. And that’s how life can be changed!”
